The beginning of October was Fire Safety Week.
We were able to walk over to the Hamilton Fire Department and have the honor of Firefighter Rob and Firefighter Frank lead us on a tour as well as teach us important fire safety lessons! We learned what equipment firefighters use when they go out to fight fires such as: The Jaws Of Life, axes, pokers, chainsaws, hoses, ladders, pumps, cones, etc... We had a lot of fun, but learned a LOT too! A special thank you to Mrs. Heuer for helping us see what gear a firefighter wears when they go out on a call! And, thank you to Firefighters Rob and Frank for leading us and teaching us. We loved it!
